From initial call to handover

  1. Initial call

Clarify the starting point, the data and the goals. Result: a shared understanding of whether a project makes sense.

  2. Backlog & estimate

We structure the requirements into a backlog with work packages and effort estimates. From the start, it is clear what the project costs.

  3. Agile delivery

Two-week sprints with a Jira board and regular steering meetings. Priorities can be adjusted at any time; the project can be paused or extended.

  4. Handover

Technical documentation, handover meetings and onboarding of the in-house team.

Taten mit Daten – data put into action

Dr. Christian Schäfer

Dr. Christian Schäfer

Managing Director

I founded Taten mit Daten to give mid-sized companies in particular access to modern data solutions. I help my clients set up low-cost, scalable solutions that they can manage and extend themselves in the medium term.

Data warehousing, cloud computing, business intelligence and artificial intelligence have developed rapidly in recent years. I help companies understand the often confusing options and apply proven practices. I place great value on transparent implementation, sustainable solutions and strengthening my clients' own teams.

I have 15 years of experience delivering data projects in large and small companies, as a consultant, data engineer, statistician and project lead. Mid-sized companies benefit above all from my knowledge of how to deliver data projects successfully and minimise typical risks. That applies to the choice of technologies, project organisation and collaboration with business departments.
